"It's not the size of the Realtor's firm, it's the size of the Realtor's heart that matters."
After working in the corporate sector as a marketing associate/business analyst for major industries like oil & gas, transportation, food distribution and wireless, I realized that I was missing something. That something was my need to connect and make an impact on the lives of people. For me, I found it difficult to do that in a cubicle or office.
So when the financial crisis hit, I thought to myself, "This is my chance to really do something!" Just like everyone else my 401K was plummeting anyway. I cashed in what was left and kissed Corporate America good-bye in search of the opportunity to make a difference.
I'm a Realtor yes. But, I'm also a wife, a mother, and a teacher and mentor. Real estate has really given me the opportunity to touch the lives of many in or around my community.
